**SIGN ON BONUS**

$1000 for all fulltime positions with 1235+ annual hours

$500 for all part-time positions

Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania's Montgomery County Division seeks a Teacher Assistant to provide supervision, care, and instructional support for its Kulpsville, PA school program serving preschool-aged children with disabilities. This school-based position offers the right candidate an opportunity to become part of our multi-disciplinary supportive team working with children with disabilities.

Essential responsibilities include greeting children and bringing them in from transportation, assisting children throughout the day, providing personal care, taking data, and supporting the classroom teacher with all lessons and activities including organizing and supervising children in the classroom and on the playground. The successful candidate must have the ability to assist the classroom teacher with working on educational goals and implementing strategies as well as assisting with the daily routine of implementing the pre-K program in a safe environment. This position involves the school year plus a summer program.

Strong communication skills, high energy, and desire to have fun with children in a team setting a must! Prior experience working with preschool-aged children and/or children with disabilities is preferred. This position provides an excellent opportunity to be employed within a well-established program.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required; college credits in education or related fields a plus.

Experience serving typically developing children and/or children with disabilities strongly desired.
