The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing support through the talent acquisition process through pre-hire and post-hire activities based on workforce needs. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Specialist facilitates a variety of high-volume recruitment activities to service the business. Hiring needs may range from temporary workers to full-time permanent employees. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also manage the relationship between approved agencies and vendors.

The preference would be for this position to be in the Morrisville, NC area, but we are open to someone working remotely from anywhere in the US.

Principal Responsibilities

Logistics:

  • Assist with the recruitment and interview process, whether handling the process in-house or in partnership with an agency/vendor.
  • Schedule phone, video, and in-person interviews
  • Review applicants against the position requirements and qualifications. Conduct phone interviews as needed. Forward qualified applicants to Hiring Manager for review, depending on the position.
  • Manage the offer process, including creating and routing offer letters for approval.
  • Coordinate background, drug, and reference-checking processes.
  • Coordinate/Manage all aspects of the onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Create, edit, and post positions to Applicant Tracking System (ATS) accurately and within the specified timeframe(s) with proper approval channels.
  • Ensure candidates follow appropriate workflow within ATS.
  • Create and manage basic metrics reporting.
  • Work with local universities/colleges and technical programs as well as other resources in sharing career opportunities.
  • Post positions to external resources such as job boards, social networking sites, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Agency/Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with current and potential agencies/vendors.
  • Ensure the agency/vendor is following proper procedures as outlined in the agreement terms and conditions, company policies and standards, and applicable laws and regulations on a continuous basis.
  • Track, measure, and report on agency/vendor performance.
  • Act as liaison with the agency/vendor to resolve daily operational issues.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a business or office environment utilizing the required customer service and administrative skills.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within talent acquisition preferred.
  • Knowledge of contingent workforce processes when working with the agency/vendor preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook.
