ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Systems Integration Project Manager is expected to provide the overall management and leadership to move a newly acquired veterinary practice from their legacy business system(s) to the Heritage ERP business platform. This position will require the development and support of a Systems Integration team made up of both direct reports to the Systems Integration Project Manager and other non-direct report team members. The team that you manage will guide newly acquired veterinary practice partners through business process and systems investigation, and perform the associated legacy system data extraction, analysis, and loading of data to the new ERP business system (currently Acumatica). Additionally, the team will provide employee systems training, culminating in go-live and post implementation support. Ideally, we'd like this employee to be located in or around the Omaha, NE, Oshkosh, WI, or Lenexa, KS area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership by serving as the Project Manager for systems integration projects.
- Coordinate efforts between Sales, Service, Operations, IT, and Accounting to transition a newly acquired vet practice from their legacy system(s) to the Heritage business platform.
- Management responsibility for the team that provides the analysis and technical skills needed to successfully migrate a newly acquired vet practice to the Heritage business platform.
- Develop and test efficient, well documented ETL (Extraction, Transform, Load) processes for bulk data loads.
- Respond to inquiries and provide advice to the vet partner practices regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs.
- Involved in continuous improvement and maintenance of implemented systems.
- Ability to travel to acquired clinics for systems training; estimated at 1 week per month

- 2 - 4 years of post-high school education in a business, or related field and/or 2 years of experience in a business management position
