Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. is currently seeking a dynamic Systems Administrator to join our team in New Mexico. Candidate will support an Army Project Office providing Windows systems administration and systems security to an Army Test Team operating at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR). Candidate will be performing systems user support, data processing duties with current and future components such as Patriot, Sentinel, LTAMDS, IFPC, and future sensors and launchers into the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) System of Systems construct.

Candidate must be able to work in a high paced environment with flexible work schedule during periods of test execution. Candidate must be self-motivated and possess good communication and team working skills to participate in multiple test support activities with team member Subject Matter Experts. Candidate must be willing to travel between various DoD test sites and ranges to support testing events.

Duties to include:

ACAS scanning, patching, and remediation

System security management

Documenting system configuration

Troubleshooting anomalies

Support Windows Active Directory adding, removing, or updating system and user account information

Building systems and applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes

Configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure

Training personnel on using systems

Supporting Approval to Operate (ATO) requirements

Ordering, installing, and configuring new hardware and software
Required Experience:

Basic qualifications:

Candidate must be a US citizen and possess a technical degree or a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an IT Supervisor, Systems Administrator, and Help Desk support. The candidate is required to have Security+ CE, CySA+ CE, Network+ CE and DISA ACAS certifications. Candidate must be a resident of the WSMR area or be willing to relocate. A minimum of 2 years WSMR experience is desired.

Desired Skills:

Candidate should have a strong background in ACAS scanning, patching, and remediation, and a clear understanding of Risk Assessment of threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities. Strong troubleshooting skills and user support experience is desired. Candidate should have the following experience or certifications: A+ CE, Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, WSUS, Windows Firewall, TCP/IP, network hardware installation and trouble shooting.

Security Requirements:

Candidate must have an Active Secret security clearance.
