Job Location - Sturbridge, MA
The Service Delivery Systems Administrator functions as a lead technical resource for day-to-day client support tickets. It is expected that this position be able to handle high level escalations that cannot be solved by other Service Delivery Team Members.
Systems Administrators are comfortable contributing to small and large-scale projects. This position is an integral piece of both customer relations, problem solving, and internal training when necessary.
- Serve as an escalation point for issues reported to by Service Delivery personnel.
- Collaborates with Service Delivery Team Members to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation as it relates to server and network topology, software platforms, asset inventory, and configurations.
- Works with vendors as needed to resolve product related issues.
- Applies software and firmware updates to critical business systems.
- Participates in after-hours upgrades, troubleshooting, and on-call availability/rotation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent certifications and experience.
- 5+ years of prior IT experience required
- Proficient with virtualization, Hyper-V, VMWare, Clusters, and Hyperconvergence.
- Proficient with wired and wireless networking, including VLANs, routing & switching, Firewall Policies, NAT, Port Forwarding, VPNs, and other network protocols.
- Proficient knowledge of all Windows Server Operating Systems and services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Radius, LDAPs, File Services, DFSR, Print Services, RDS & Terminal Services, Certificate Services, Group Policy, PowerShell, and other services.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, Azure Active Directory, AD Connect, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure computing a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work through problems systematically.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment while still acting as a mentor for other Service Delivery team members to help hone their skills.
- Certifications a plus.
- Must be able to lift 35lbs.
