Job description

-Prepares the operating/delivery room by ensuring all equipment, instrumentation and supplies are readily available.
-Audibly and visually performs surgical counts with the RN throughout the entire procedure. Assists with prepping and draping.
-Able to troubleshoot equipment, reports malfunctions.
-Identify any potential concerns related to instrument or equipment problems and follows through to prevent injury or occurrence.
-Completes medical record documentation in an accurate and legible fashion that includes all pertinent information, approved SRH abbreviations, interdisciplinary team communication, date, time, signature, title as required.

• Ortho (Total Joints, Trauma); General Surgery (Lap Chole, Lap Appy, Colon Resection, Hernia Repair, Nissen, etc.); Vascular (AAA Endografts, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV Fistula, Fem-Pop, etc.); Neuro (Crani, Tumor resection, PLIF, TLIF, Laminectomy, Discectomy, with/without navigation, etc.); Urology (cysto, robotic prostatectomy, nephrectomy, etc.)
• Requirement: 1 Circulating RN and 1 Surgical Tech per room; Primarily: 1 Circulating RN and 2 Surgical Techs per room
• Approximately 20 to 40 cases per day
• Mon thru Fri - Evenings/Nights $2.00

Sat & Sun: 25% more an hour Shift Differential Kicks In at 7:00 pm
