Function:

Under the supervision of the Manager of Development and Operations this person performs advanced day-to-day software and hardware related technical assistance for all District end-users, level one technical support, and is the team lead for the Support Technician team.


This job includes, but is not limited, to any or all of the following skills, duties and responsibilities:


General Duties:

  • Public Relations
  • Participate in daily stand-up’s
  • Device repair
  • Software installation
  • Device imaging


Specific Duties:

  • Analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating technology issues.
  • Entering and updating support tickets.
  • Analyzing support requests and ensuring the Support Technician team is responding adequately, appropriatelyi, and in a timely manner to requests and incidents.
  • Escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinating parts ordering and monitoring logisitics.


Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Background check is required. Continuing education mindset is required. CompTIA A+, Network +, or equivalent certifications preferred. A minimum of three years of support experience preferred. Experience supporting technology in K-12 learning environments preferred.
