To thrive as a Supply Chain Specialist (Demand), you must be a team player, analytical, detail oriented, and great communicator. Intermediate Excel skills will be necessary for data reporting. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about our ERP system (SAP). An outgoing personality with a positive attitude will help you build relationships with our external retail customers and internal cross-functional teams.

As our Supply Chain Specialist (Demand) with Behr, you’ll be working in our Corporate Headquarters keeping on open line of communication with our national external retail customers and the broader internal supply chain team to support supply and demand forecasting. Within the team, you will be loading sales history and generating/ maintaining the item/location unit forecast for the entire planning horizon. Individual will need to be data-driven and eager to analyze, track and check data day to day. Identify and maintain appropriate forecasting methods and selection parameters. They will generate statistical forecast, make forecast adjustments to the system based on information from sales. Develop presentations for senior management and lead projects as assigned and record/report company KPI’s. We operate with a continuous improvement mindset, so you will be encouraged and supported in continually searching for ways to improve forecast accuracy

Here’s what we’re looking for from you:

  • Strong quantitative analytical skills
  • Strong data assimilation skills
  • PC skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to work with various functional disciplines that interact with the supply chain dept
  • Facilitation skills in leading meeting of various business disciplines in Sales and Operations Planning
  • BA 4-year degree in Business or Operations/Supply Chain equivalent preferred
  • We support and encourage attaining CPF (Certified Professional Forecaster) certification within first 2 years of employment
