AAM is currently seeking a skilled Full-Time Supply Chain Specialist to oversee supply chain processes and operations within our Ridgway Metal Forming facility. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for establishing performance metrics and benchmarks, monitoring performance, and presenting results to senior management.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience mentoring and leading continuous improvement efforts within automotive manufacturing facilities. Additionally, you should be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments, including plant operations, sales, procurement, and finance, to ensure efficient supply chain support and problem resolution.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following qualities:

• Ability to achieve Supply Chain Management operational objectives by providing materials management recommendations, implementing production and quality standards, and identifying materials management system improvements.
• Experience supporting the standardization and continuous improvement of business processes for global supply chain systems.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective SMEs/Key Users and support the development of new process technology for continuous improvement of AAM materials management/SCM systems.
• Ability to act as a key support contact to drive problem resolution, assist in root cause assessment for all audit non-compliances, develop corrective action plans, and monitor action registers/PDCAS to drive closure.
• Experience maintaining current and future state process flows for all core and sub-core SCM processes, including material and information flow.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• Completion of a Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience leading supply chain teams.
• Proven track record in automotive factory material management setting.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.

Salary info:
