The role you’ll contribute:
This position is responsible for the management of contract information for AdventHealth on both a corporate and local level. This includes price activating GPO contracts, procuring signatures for corporate agreements and managing the contracts and associated metadata onto the Supply Chain SharePoint site. The contract administrator must be acutely aware of existing contracts for particular product lines and leverage that knowledge when reviewing contract submissions from the facilities. Organization and follow through are imperative as the information managed by this position significantly impacts downstream processes such as pricing and operational metrics.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Ensures all Premier & AdventHealth contracts are reviewed for applicable contract participation and shares this information with staff.
- Demonstrates ability to conduct the Premier contract participation process (PMDF) accurately, efficiently managing outstanding, delinquent, and problematic price activations.
- Review facility entered contracts. Quickly assigns contract #s and route contracts to Contract Managers when additional review is necessary.
- Ensures integrity of SharePoint (ARC) by standardizing MFG names, keeping documents current in ImageNow, etc.
- Monitors various stakeholders (Recall Software Vendor, Manufacturers and Hospitals) clarifying expectations and offers suggestions leading to optimum performance.
- Creates agendas/records the minutes and actively participates in acute care affiliate partnerships.
- Summarizes correspondences and reports information and data in formats that are logical, visually engaging and clear, and ultimately aid in decision making for management.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
- Minimum of two years of experience
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
