Summary
Supervisor IT Asset Management / IT Vendor & Asset Management Office is looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence to help us continue to build out our services.
What your day would be like:
You are responsible for:
- Working leader role with both people and project responsibilities.
- Lead, motivate and engage operations staff to ensure the delivery of great stakeholder experiences in line with APS values.
- Drive or support (where needed) operational projects and initiatives that help improve processes, optimize cost, or enhance service offerings.
- Develop & drive business change initiatives.
- Partner with key stakeholders to expand and refine IT vendor strategies.
- Resolve IT vendor, contract and support issues.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors' degree in Information Technology, Business, or other job related field
- PLUS 5 years of prior relevant experience in IT systems support and management or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Requires in-depth level of technical knowledge within a job area and working knowledge of other technical areas.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- of service offerings; customer service principles; various computer software applications, and competency using Microsoft PC Office products.

Major Accountabilities
- Supervise operations employees, providing direction, support and work oversight
- Create and promote a productive work environment, enabling the team to deliver on commitments across the Organization. Remove roadblocks when necessary.
- Identify then lead initiatives and projects intended to improve existing programs, processes or vendor partnerships.
- Build awareness of team services and processes across the Organization.
- Maintain relationships with strategic vendor partners.

Flex Role:
This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work. Employees will have two options to choose from:
- APS office based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from an APS facility.
- Home based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from his/her home.
- Employees in Flex roles are required to reside in Arizona (or NM for Four Corners-based employees). Role types are subject to change based on business need.
