Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
Requirements
- Comply with all Minimum Standards required by licensing
- Planning fun and educational activities for children ages 6-12 years.
- Must be flexible in receiving assignments or adapting to changes in the program
- Maintain an orderly classroom, conducive to learning
- Teach to the standards of performance required by the school
- Establish an effective working relationship with parents, students and other staff members
- Demonstrate competency, good judgment, and self-control in the presence of children and when performing assigned responsibilities
- Relate to children and adults with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience
- Recognize and respect the uniqueness and potential of all children, their families, and cultures
- Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
- Observes all rules and regulations at Life Church Learning Center West Campus and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
- Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Education:

Responsibilities
- Know which children they are responsible for and number in group
- Supervise children at all times
- Ensure the children are not out of control
- Be free from activities not directly involving teaching, care, and supervision of children.
- Interact routinely with children in a positive manner
- Foster developmentally appropriate independence in children with planned but flexible activities
- Foster a cooperative rather than a competitive atmosphere
- Show appreciation of children’s efforts and accomplishments
- Ensure continuity of care for children by sharing with incoming caregivers, information about each child’s activities during previous shift and any instructions given by parent.
