About the Role:

The Store Support role ensures that our retail location is set up for success. We’re looking for an individual to help create a customer experience that begins with positive first impressions and turns customers into Raving Fans. Time will be spent ensuring the store is set up and maintained in accordance with Burch's Shoes merchandising playbook. This allows for customers to effortlessly and effectively shop, and provides an environment for store sales associates to efficiently meet customers’ needs. Knowledge and application of the sales process are also necessary.

The Store Support person will work closely with the Store Manager and the Store Support Integrator, handling responsibilities that include:

• Store maintenance
• Providing a unique level of consistent and superior customer service
• Assisting with store merchandising
• Sales associate support
• Assisting with sales transactions
• Providing customer support via telephone, email, and other messaging apps

What You'll Do:

• Ensure the store is clean, orderly, and presentable to Burch's Shoes standards.
• Develop a deep understanding of the Visual Merchandising Playbook and execute strategies.
• Warmly greet each customer, inquire about their reason for visiting, and provide any additional assistance through their entire stay.
• Ensure you are current on any promotions and share details with customers.
• Monitor the sales floor and racks to ensure tidiness for store appeal and efficiency.
• Provide assistance as needed with phone calls, shoe checks, mailouts, transfers, and the clean-up of “deadwood” to free up the sales staff.

Experience:

Retail sales experience preferred, but not required.

Hours and Compensation:

• Full-time position, 40+ hours per week. Part-time position, 20+ hours per week
• Hourly pay, compensated bi-weekly
• Uncapped sales commission earning potential
