Stock Clerk

About the Position

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Familiar with the use of DSS, MCPALMS, WMS and other systems in the performance of warehouse operations.
• Must be proficient in reading and capable of communicating effectively in English verbally and writing.
• Basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the work.
• Record-keeping techniques.
• Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Complete all required government and contractor required training.
• Possess basic math and computer skills.
• Able to pass a physical if required.
• Able to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods.
• Comply with state and federal laws.
• Secret or be qualified to be approved for and retain secret clearance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receives, stores, and issues equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, and other goods and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse, or storage facilities.
• Counts, sorts, or weights incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
• Stores articles in bins, on floors, or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material. Filles orders or issued supplies from stock.
• Prepares periodic special or perpetual inventory of stock. Requisition articles to fill incoming orders.
• Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory count and stock records, spoilage of or damage of stock, location changes, and refusals of shipment.
• Utilizes identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
• Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of materials issued.
• Makes adjustments or repairs to inventory when required.
• KCC, pick and stow.
• Picklist, picks, stows, research for picklist.
• Research, receipt line, frustrated material.
• Picklist, packer station, stow, pick, research.
• Picks, receipt line, picklist.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 4-years of related experience.

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Work Location: Albany, GA

Physical Demands:
Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment. Able to stand, bend, lift and walk for extended periods.
