Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of three (3) years of varied, increasingly responsible secretarial experience.- High school education or equivalent.
- Maintains confidentiality of issues as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and maintains effective public relations with departmental clientele.
- Ability to be an effective team member.
- A thorough knowledge of correct English usage, including grammar, spelling, vocabulary and punctuation.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use a variety of office equipment, FAX, telephones, copy machines, computer, typewriter, etc.
- A thorough knowledge of department organization, policies and procedures as well as a general knowledge of the Medical Center's structure.
- Establish and maintain clerical procedures and standards.
- Work independently and perform a variety of assignments.
