POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced pharmacist that will be a key player in our team at Toledo Family Pharmacy. We are a fast-paced but low-pressure pharmacy with two locations in the Toledo area.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.)
• Graduate of accredited pharmacy school holding current Ohio Licensure
• Utilizes effective communication to provide excellent customer service
• Knowledgeable in physical, chemical, and pharmacological aspects of pharmacy practice with special interest in facilitating innovative pharmacy practice models and programming
• Must be self-directed, motivated and capable of leading supportive personnel

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining quality pharmacy services in compliance with laws set forth by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Processing prescription orders and reviewing patient profiles, preparing, dispensing, and managing medications to support safe and effective drug therapy for patients of all ages
• Provide education to patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, students, and the public
• Build profitable business and script growth through recommended clinical programs including appropriate immunization and when available MTM (Medication Therapy Management), DCS(Diabetes Care Specialist), and all ongoing other programs to be identified
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures for controlled substance dispensing and record keeping
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling
• Strong focus on providing a superior level of customer service
• Performs other duties as required

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledgeable and able to navigate through SRS Pharmacy System
