So, what does a Silvi Materials Staff Accountant do? You'll be an integral part of our Stellar Accounting team:

· Coordinating all accounting operational functions (A/R, A/P, and General Accounting).

· Accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.

· Preparing internal and external financial statements and operating reports.

· Providing management with accurate and timely information vital to the decision making process.

· Assist in the improvement of accounting and internal control systems.

· Special Projects/assignments as directed by the Controller.

· Overseeing regulatory (state and local tax) reporting and compliance.

· Assist in the ERP implementation

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree with major in accounting, finance or similar field highly preferred.

· Experience with "cost accounting" highly preferred.

· Experience with an ERP implementation is a plus.

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is a plus.

· Master’s degree or advanced certification is a plus.

· At least 1-2 years relevant experience in accounting required. Additional experience preferred but not required.

· Willing to undergo a credit check.

· Well-experienced, focused on business objectives and highly effective in dealing with a broad range of internal and external customers.

· Possesses solid communication, analytical, and management skills including extensive accounting software and spreadsheet experience.

· Possesses knowledge of all aspects of basic accounting.

· Manufacturing, cost accounting or auditing experience is also highly valued.

· Possesses the flexibility/adaptability to change projects on short notice.
