Sr. IT Systems Engineer

Samuel Coraluzzo Co, Inc. / Torrissi Transport (www.coraluzzo.com) has an opportunity for a motivated technology professional to join our team as a Sr. IT Systems Engineer. You will have primary responsibility for managing IT systems and infrastructure for one of the largest, privately-owned, independent petroleum transporters on the east coast. We utilize an advanced hyperconverged computing and hybrid cloud infrastructure, and enterprise level software operating platforms to support our transportation and logistics operations. The candidate must be goal oriented individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills, be solution oriented, and have a desire to work with and leverage emerging technologies to achieve business objectives.

Position Details

You will have primary responsibility for IT infrastructure management, as well as IT service and support roles, including:

• Manage, support, and deploy IT hardware and systems used in our Philadelphia datacenter and East Coast offices, including network, mobile computing and VoIP equipment

• Create and document service requests, issues, problems, and changes. Provides hands-on troubleshooting/support as needed. Handle recurring business processes.

• Monitor ticket queues and triage as necessary.

• Provide desktop/technical support (including administering and maintaining end-user accounts, passwords, email, and phone systems).

• Order and coordinate equipment and services for branch offices and facilitate equipment moves between locations, maintaining inventory. Lift and move computer equipment (up to 30 lbs.).

• Maintain relationships and communication with vendors regarding orders and outages. • Collaboratively build and maintain a knowledge base for IT support & develop standards.

• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the company to design, plan, deliver, revise, and troubleshoot solutions to business problems and challenges.

• Identify needs for changes/projects and build requirements. • Act as coordinator, project manager, point of contact, technical lead in collaboration IT department coworkers and organization leadership.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational & problem-solving skills. • Commitment to continuous personal and professional growth.

• Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations.

Desired Experience and Skills

 Minimum 3 years experience administering VMware vSphere virtual infrastructure for both servers and Horizon View virtual (VDI) desktops

 Experience and demonstrated competency utilizing VMware technologies such as App Volumes. Dynamic Environment Manager, OS Optimization Tool and other VMware deployment platforms

 Demonstrated knowledge and experience deploying virtual desktop pools on thin client devices (WYSE experience preferred)

 Experience managing Windows Server operating systems

 Experience with Windows Active Directory

 Experience administering and configuring Windows desktop operating systems

 Experience with PowerShell, automation tools, and scripting

 Experience working with and administering Google Apps for Business  Experience with security protocols and best practices,

 Experience with administration of digital security certificates

 Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud

The candidate must be available to work in the Philadelphia/Southern NJ metropolitan/suburban area. This is a full-time, permanent position with a complete benefits package, based in our Cumberland County NJ office.

A BS/BA college degree is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,488.00 - $110,111.00 per year
