Position Summary
The Department of Emergency Medicine Consortium is looking to hire a motivated, detail-oriented professional to serve as the Sr. Program Manager who enjoys a fast-paced challenging work environment. This position will work in tandem with Interim Division Chief and faculty in overseeing all aspects of the EMS Consortium program to ensure efficiency and allow greater coverage of services to the community. This will be a multifaceted position and will include working with data to create and distribute internal and external reports as well as program planning implementation and evaluation, grant and contract management, fleet and equipment management, assistance with research projects, and other miscellaneous support for section chief and faculty. This position will serve as the liaison to other departments/programs within New Mexico. It requires strong interpersonal and communications skills, the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.

Conditions of Employment

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; two of which are management level experience.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.


Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in emergency medical services
Experience with developing and maintaining budget
Experience monitoring contracts and grants performance
Experience in program development and evaluation including submitting required progress and status reports; monitoring the outcomes of program activities, and utilizing data when possible to identify successes and areas for performance improvement.
