The Role

This Sr. Lead Product Manager role is responsible for supporting the orchestration of strategy alignment and implementation related to product lifecycle management and overall product management. The management responsibilities will be focused primarily on Core network services including Enterprise Broadband Services (Broadband, Wireless and Access), Ethernet Services and VPN Servcies. Serving as a key interface for strategic alignment regarding Core Network Services product lifecycle management this individual will work closely with cross functional leadership to increase the velocity around implementing product lifecycle strategies, establish and maintain linkage between the customer experience and product lifecycle roadmaps to drive the evolution of the Core Network Product Portfolio and all products utilizing Core Network products as access.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Effectively project manage key aspects of the end-to-end product lifecycle initiatives ensuring the business strategy is executed successfully and aligns with change imperatives.
  • Maintain and enhance a reporting structure for key product initiatives including scorecards, detailed reports and regular communication to stakeholders.
  • Consult within strategy and across the business using a broad level of knowledge and expertise. Responsible for assisting in reconciling and aligning goals/objectives with product initiatives to maximize the effectiveness of strategy value and support.
  • Identify key learnings from product initiatives and help drive them back into the Core Product organization to deliver continuous process improvements and create a well-established product lifecycle management capability.
  • Work collaboratively to achieve the organizational goals, objectives, and priorities as tied to the strategic plan.
  • Maintain linkage advocating for cross functional collaboration to maximize the effectiveness of strategy support, ensuring synchronization of activities, minimizing duplication of efforts and establishing best practice standardization.
  • Sustain a governance and operational support framework supporting the key business imperatives; ensuring leaders and teams are operating within established principles, receiving the appropriate requirements and support from the broader organization. Coordinate with leaders and cross functional teams to ensure appropriate prioritization, resourcing and velocity.
  • Work across teams to set direction, define objectives and align priorities for the Core Network Services Product Management team to realize the goals overall organization.
  • Address assigned challenges that may be vary in complexity and may be broad, abstract, and often involving Company-wide issues. Must implement solutions using creativity, resourcefulness, innovation, negotiation and diplomacy.


What We Look For in a Candidate

  • BS/BA or equivalent education and experience in Product Management, Master’s Degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role with Network Services products driving product development or technical program management.
  • 5+ years of experience driving cross functional, collaborative teams, leading teams in matrix-driven organization, and facilitating collaboration between VP and Senior leaders across the company.
  • Demonstrated experience with Program management, Process development and execution
  • Aptitude for solving complex technical and operational problems while driving multiple priorities and programs and delivering against tight timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Corporate Governance practices, Program and Portfolio Management.
  • Outstanding communications skills up, down and across the organization. Ability to create clarity and drive focus in complex and dynamic contexts.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
