We are accepting applications for school-based Speech and Language Therapists / Pathologists to provide a full range of school-based speech therapy services to children ages 5-21.

• 
  Needs for are for full-time SLPs, 7.5 hour/day positions, but will consider SLP applicants interested in part-time work
• The Speech and Language Therapist is an independent contractor position at $75.00 per hour

SUMMARY:

Speech Language Pathologists are needed throughout Chester County in school-based positions. The Speech Language Pathologist provides a full range of school-based speech therapy services to children ages 5-21. The Speech Language Pathologist functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to determine a student’s eligibility for school-based speech and language therapy services as well as appropriate programming recommendations. The SLP works directly with students, faculty, parents, and administration. The Speech Language Pathologist delivers services and implements all procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and school policies and procedures and utilizes practices that are evidence based.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist
• Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence - preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship year considered

CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS:

(Clearances and TB current within 12 months)

• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
• TB Screening
• Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
• PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist
