Job Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering support for the Theta Automation and Optimization sales organization; including being the focal point for the Theta software suite and SMARTEN Controls.

• Heavily involved in the commercial proposal and tender fulfillment requirements to capture new accounts in the North American market.

• Provision of technical presentations to multiple organizational levels; including, pre-sales education and post-sales training.

• Facilitate the ongoing education and training of the sales teams to maintain core competency with the Theta product offerings.

• Contribute to new product development to drive innovation and value creation.

• Support commercial marketing efforts to expand brand identity.

• Work with external vendors and internal teams to ensure successful deployment by resolving issues and exceeding customer expectations.

• Execution of software trials and ensure successful outcomes with published case studies and industry technical papers.

Position Requirements:

• Up to 10% travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred: Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical)

• Minimum of 5 years of production, operations, surveillance, and/or optimization experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.

• Strong skillset in artificial lift, specifically in rod pump, ESP, and gas lift.

• Exceptional communication skills in small and large groups, as well as presentations.

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; proficient in PowerPoint

Preferred skills

• Experience using XSPOCTM software as well as RODSTARTM, XDAIGTM, XRODTM, XBALTM

• Able to maintain control of conversations and pivot quickly when needed.

• Experienced training end-users and/or developing learning content.
