Pay Rate
$75,000 for 11 month appointment
Minimum Experience/Education
Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
- Ethical and self-motivated.
- Experience with object-oriented languages. Java and Python are preferred.
- Experience with MySQL or other databases.
- Experience with full-stack web development. Spring Framework and Python Flask are preferred,
- Experience with Amazon Web Services is a big plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) and in-person (Kannapolis, North Carolina).
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will analyze, design, develop, and modify our existing software applications and develop new ones using various technologies such as Python, Flask, Java, JavaFX, Spring Framework, and SQL. You are an ideal candidate if you can demonstrate a love of learning through personal, collegiate, or professional project work, and show a passion for software engineering and an excitement for problem-solving.
