We are seeking to hire a Social Impact Manager across the Americas. This role reports to the SVP, Sustainability Director, Americas and is responsible for supporting the delivery of our social impact strategy and goals by delivering the global social impact programs in the market. In close collaboration with our leadership teams, communications and HR, this role will develop and execute programs, support client work around sustainability, and raise awareness of the programs internally, including engaging and activating employees and recruiting/training volunteers as appropriate.

You will be working very closely with Dentsu Good: a Sustainability Accelerator , which is a global solution that creates business growth for purpose-driven brands with tangible social impact. We drive positive change and sustainable growth through integrated solutions that help people create the future they want to live in. Key Accountabilities

  • Identifies and develops partnerships to support the delivery of the global flagship programs related to key areas in the strategy including sustainable consumption, equality, responsible media and skills.
  • Act as the project manager on all Social Impact related projects and initiatives.
  • Act as the point of contact for the region on all Social Impact related topics/queries.
  • Identifies and manages key stakeholder relationships and ensures continual alignment with programs as applicable.
  • Manages internal and external relationships as appropriate and proactively identifies, addresses and seeks to resolve differences between individual and/or interest groups.
  • Launches and delivers specific digital skills programs as well as initiatives in schools, universities across local markets/offices and liaises with HR, local champions and external partners to ensure the programs are integrated into local talent strategy.
  • Collaborates with employee communications to raise awareness of the Social Impact strategy and supporting programs with the objective to engage our people, build brand and reputation.
  • Reports on progress against dentsu’s publicly stated goals for sustainability and social impact which include volunteering and number of beneficiaries through our programs.
  • Collaborates and supports the global Social Impact team on key campaigns in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Developing expertise across sectoral and geographic sustainability challenges and opportunities

Qualifications
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the Americas (U.S., Canada or LATAM )on a full-time basis. No sponsorship is available for this position or work transfers.
  • Relevant experience in a project management, social impact and sustainability role
  • Research and draw insights to feed into client solutions
  • Excellent data analytics, Excel (pivot Tables) and PowerPoint skills
  • Deep knowledge of environmental sustainability, emissions, renewable energy
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and exemplary attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task and prioritize a high volume of project and tasks at one time
  • Ability to work with diverse teams across an organization

Additional Information


The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000-$121,500
. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
