JOB TITLE: Sober Living Manager

DEPARTMENT: White Buffalo Recovery Center

REPORTS TO: ​​ Clinical Coordinator

SALARY: ​​ DOE

JOB STATUS:​ Full-Time/Non-Exempt/Variable days and hours

JOB SUMMARY:

Introduces and instructs the new residents to the culture of the home, holds all residents accountable for their commitment to sobriety and good self-care, and to ensure that house rules are being followed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Ensure that all residents properly respect and maintaining common areas (esp. Kitchen, living room, conference room).

● Monitor that residents are following house rules; observe and report any unusual behaviors or potential areas of conflict between residents.

● Monitor proper use and functioning of appliances and other household equipment.

● Observe any unusual activities that may pose a safety or nuisance issue for the clients or neighbors.

● Maintain inventory of all household supplies (i.e., cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, furniture, household keys etc.) and prepare bedrooms for all new tenants entering into Homes (i.e., clean linens, dresser drawers, bedroom cleanliness etc.).

● Review Program and House Rules with all new tenants and ensure compliance with house rules, monthly rent is paid, and recovery support meetings are being attended.

● Performs other duties as assigned to maintain and enhance the operation of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Associates ‘degree in Addiction Studies, Human Services, Psychology or Sociology.

· Must have a minimum of 2 years’experience working in the substance abuse field.

· Must have two (2) years of continuous recovery of being clean and sober.

· Basic knowledge of substance abuse.

· Must possess a valid driver license and meet insurance standards and maintain insurability under WRFCHCs insurance program.

· Must be able to pass a criminal background check under the Indian Child Protection Act and Family Act (P.L.101-630).

· First Aid/AED/CPR within 60 days of hire.

o Supporting documents: Proof of Covid Vaccination and Booster, Driver’s License, Tribal ID, High School Diploma/GED, Degree or professional credentials, and other supporting documents that verify required qualifications.

o WRFCHC is a mandatory covid vaccine employer. All employees are required to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment.

· Applicants not living in the local area may submit a cover letter, resume, and supporting documents in lieu of an application as an initial statement of interest for a particular job announcement. However, the applicant must follow-up with an official Wind River Family and Community Health Care job application.

· Applicants who have a current application on file are required to submit a letter of interest for each position in which they want to be considered for. The letter should address how they meet each qualification. Supporting documents must be attached to the letter of interest.
