Job description
Ski & Snowboard Rental Shop Team Members assist guests with ski/snowboard rentals at our shops at the 3 Sun Valley Resort base areas. They help with the proper fitting of equipment and finalizing rental agreements. Part-time morning shifts available as well as peak season shifts
Rental Shop Team Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adjust skis/snowboards to suit the customers’ needs.
- Work with customers to ensure they have the right equipment for their ability.
- Maintain a steady, efficient flow of rental items going out and being returned.
- Issues skis/snowboards to customer and records time of transaction.
- Receives returned skis/snowboards and examines them for abuse or breakage.
- Records time equipment was returned.
- Tags skis/snowboards needing repair or service.
- Adjusts skis/snowboards to suit customer.
- Explains operation of skis/snowboards and features of certain skis/snowboards.
Rental Shop Team Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
- Must be able to move objects up to approximately 35 pounds about the workplace safely.
