Sioux City Ford Lincoln is looking to fill our Body Shop Manager position in our organization. The Body Shop Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the Body Shop Department. This includes ensuring the Body Shop meets its short and long-range objectives, creating and implementing actions plans, and contributing to the dealership’s goals. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The job also requires a genuine desire to service the customer as well as a positive attitude and willingness to be a team member are essential to this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for directing and scheduling the activities of all Parts and Body Shop employees.
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all Body Shop staff.
- Ensure that all employees’ time clock punches are accurate, and document all flag labor time on each repair order as it is completed.
- Work with team members to achieve target delivery dates.
- Prioritize work to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Establish & maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat referral business.
- Coordinate payments with all insurance companies and follow up and ensure that Accounts Receivables are current.
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with, federal, state and local regulations that affect operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right to now, ect.
- Ensure that all the necessary shop equipment is in proper and safe working condition.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and employees.
- Attend training classes as directed by management.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:
- Prior auto body repair, painting, and estimating preferred.
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency.
- Must be accustomed to working within a growing company and comfortable in coaching and keeping others accountable.
- Experience with CCC ONE estimating system preferred but not necessary.

- Valid U.S. driver's license
