Job description
Looking for a highly self motivated individual to run our Kona Tea Shop for us. We are a tea company located in Hilo, Hawaii and specialize in cold brew iced teas. You can find our teas in major retailers like CVS, KTA superstores, Island Naturals, Costco Stores and more. Our tea shop at the Alii Gardens Marketplace features all of our teas, branded merchandise, as well as other locally made snacks like ulu chips, ahi jerky, honey and more.
We rarely make it to our Kona shop, so we are looking to hire a very responsible person- someone who can take the reigns for us and be the manager for our storefront. Job includes updating inventory, sourcing new products, charming our guests, brewing teas for daily samples and mostly (90% of the job)- to sell our teas and other local goods to the customers in the marketplace.
Job Requirements:
-Minimum one year of direct sales experience
-Minimum one year of Management experience
-Knowledge of Food safety and sanitation practices
-Must live locally- in or near Kailua-Kona
-Have reliable transportation that is not shared
-Available to work Wednesday thru Sunday every week (7-8 hour shifts 8-4/5pm)- This schedule does not change...
-Great Customer Service Skills
-Must be be able to demonstrate to us that you are trustworthy, responsible and reliable.
Job Duties include: #1 duty is direct sales/customer service to meet daily sales requirements, making tea samples, cleaning/sanitizing kitchen items, inventory, Shop upkeep/tidiness, great communication with our staff in Hilo to ensure you have everything you need, Help us source new/ popular items Made in Hawaii to bring into the shop.
