Shop Helper Brookshire TX

We are looking for a hard-working, safety-oriented Shop Helper to join our team. This person must be able to cross train in the manufacturing facility to learn the different departments, and willing to help wherever is needed.

Shop Helper job duties:

• Provide assistance with department leads as needed
• Operate machinery and equipment
• Manually and equipment assisted relocate raw and finished materials
• Handle materials
• Assemble and produce components
• Ensure quality control
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area
• Keep records of production
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Collaborate with other team members
• Read Micrometers, measuring tapes.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.

Shop Helper Requirements:

• Must be able to stand 10 hours daily and walk up to 2 hours a day
• At least 6 months experience in a similar industrial environment
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever
• Must have Highschool Diploma/GED
• Must be able to read measuring tape.

Shift: Rotating between 6 am - 4:30 pm, 6 am - 2:30 pm and 6 am - 7 pm Monday - Friday

Pay: $14.00
