Shipping / Receiving Technician
Job description
- Previous shipping and receiving experience within a procedural based environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated, proactive engagement with internal customer and coworkers for efficient execution of responsibilities.
- Forklift experience
- Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual, energetic and self-motivated. Good attitude and good team/interpersonal skills
- Must enjoy a non-routine, fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including expertise in Excel; ability and desire to learn new computer programs
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to safely operate overhead crane
- Valid drivers’ license required; excellent driving record and city navigation/map reading skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- US Citizenship or Green Card required
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
