Service Technician - Job Summary

This is entry to mid-level position, and a great opportunity to join a growing company in its early stages of development for the right candidate.

This position will involve varied mechanical tasks and some general labor tasks while primarily working in a warehouse environment.

General Accountabilities

  • Primary duties to include, but not limited to, basic maintenance, pre-delivery inspections (PDI's), assembly, and light repairs on material handling equipment. LP, Gas, Diesel and Electrical systems
  • Inspects newly received equipment to determine any maintenance, repair, or other corrective actions necessary and completes those actions accordingly.
  • Completes a final inspection of all outgoing equipment to verify everything is in good order according to company standards and completes any necessary final repairs or adjustments accordingly.
  • Keeps logs, records, and creates reports pertaining to inspection results and repairs/maintenance performed.
  • Assists in shipping and receiving of equipment and parts as needed.
  • Assists in stocking, inventorying, order pulling, and other general organizational warehouse duties as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working on LP, Gas, Diesel and Electrical systems on mobile industrial equipment, preferably forklifts
  • Manufacturing, automotive, military or recent trade school graduates with applied skills.
  • Able to work safely and follow company rules and procedures
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs and meet all physical abilities to carry out the required work

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
