This position is based out of our Portland, OR location.

Responsibilities

• Reviews technician work, techniques, and safety requirements to ensure quality meets established standards, and makes recommendations to improve quality and productivity.
• Review completed technician work orders, coach technicians on proper documentation practices.
• Act as a resource for junior technicians. Provide advanced troubleshooting assistance or assist technician with locating correct support within JB or Factory.
• Assists Service Sales Engineer with estimating durations and detailing scopes of work.
• Outlines future training needs of the technician group.
• Details out standard tooling.
• Assists with vehicle selections, monitors assigned service vehicles to ensure they are being maintained and operated according to company policy.
• Responsible for technician performance reviews and setting technician improvement goals.
• Interface with internal customer to respond to job related concerns and clarify scopes of work.
• Communicates regularly with dispatch to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency, and training requirements. Determine job specific questions that need to be answered before tech arrives on site.
• Provide concise technician requests and feedback to Service Manager with recommendations.
• Resolves customer concerns and complaints, bringing in Service Manager as needed for all escalations.
• Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices. Ensures appropriate employee safety training and compliance is completed, send out weekly safety meeting topic.
• Perform complex startups, repairs, and billable service as dispatched

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• Ability to drive a company vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs on a regular basis

Employment is contingent upon providing a driving record that is approved for operation of a company vehicle.

Compensation: Starting at $50/hr
