About You:

  • Providing excellent customer service brings you joy.
  • You are knowledgeable about food and comfortable talking about preparation methods and ingredients.
  • Attention to detail is your superpower.
  • You are able to read tables and know what is needed before the customer asks.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Greet customers as they enter the restaurant.
  • Become familiar with the menu and answer customer questions concerning food being served.
  • Enhance guest experiences by offering personalized service, suggestions, and pairings.
  • Take accurate orders and deliver hot food promptly.
  • Clear dishes as they are used and manage customer transactions.
  • Maintain a courteous and well-mannered demeanor.
  • Adhere to a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Occasional cleaning and stocking, as needed.

Available shifts are Wednesday-Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings. 20-30 hours a week.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 1+ years of restaurant serving experience
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills
  • Familiarity with basic types of beer, wine, and liquor a plus
  • Experience with variable customer volume a plus
  • Able to follow directions and work independently
  • Effective verbal communication skills

The Good Stuff:

  • Base pay plus tips averages about $20-$30/hr (we guarantee an average of at least $15/hr)
  • Discounts at all Trolley House Hospitality companies including catering services, Parterre restaurant, and vending items in our warehouse
  • Part-time employees who work at least 1,000 hours a year are eligible for 401k matching after the first year
