The Compliance team at New Relic runs our external audit certification program and partners with internal teams to design and implement controls. This team is fast-paced, and we seek innovative ways to build and integrate technology towards automating our compliance program and strive to be best in class. We're looking for someone who is passionate, detail oriented, and a go-getter to join us!
This role is currently an individual contributor role with the opportunity to grow and develop a team.
We are considering remote candidates for this opportunity.
- Lead and plan audit engagements, including collaborating and communicating timelines, status, and results.
Partner with engineers and development teams on educating and implementing regulatory controls.
Mature our compliance framework and become an expert on compliance at New Relic.
Improve the risk management program to increase visibility and reporting to leadership across the organization.
Drive program adoption and accountability, and influence organization priorities.
- 8+ years of experience in performing and running audits, certification programs and control assessments, including: scope planning, writing control activities, developing policies and standards, control testing, mapping issues to risks, and socializing results.
Solid grasp and proven experience in compliance management and familiarity with industry-standard frameworks (e.g., SOC, SOX, HITRUST, HIPAA, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, ISO27001).
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key partners, technology leaders, and internal technology control and process owners.
Knowledge of or experience working with Cloud technologies/environments, AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM or other related cloud experience is required.
Proactive, self-starter, attention to detail, demonstrable ability to deliver high quality work.
- A bachelor's degree in a technology field (Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Cyber Security, etc.) and/or certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCIE, CISM, CISA, CCSK)
