An education services company in Virginia is currently seeking a new Senior PowerSchool SIS Administrator to join their team in a Remote capacity. In this role, the Senior PowerSchool SIS Administrator (Remote) will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the student information systems across enterprise schools (both Online and Brick & Mortar) operated by ACCEL Schools by providing support and first-tier troubleshooting assistance to the end users including detection, diagnosis, reporting, and correction of any information.

- Coordinate day-to-day operations of the PowerSchool system and act as a liaison with end users and internal and external support staff to assure accurate problem interpretation and a resolution
- Create, document, update, and review documentation from state(s) and PowerSchool to determine what validation rules should be written
- Manage the implementation, technical support and training of PowerSchool to schools and staff
- Present information on a variety of topics related to PowerSchool for providing general information, training, implementing actions, by arranging workshops, seminars, and PD programs individually or in large group training
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 5+ years of PowerSchool experience
- Knowledge of all aspects of PowerSchool, including but not limited to: the creation, maintenance of custom pages, reports, plugins, registration process, scheduling, grading, APIs, PowerTools, PowerTeacher, GradeBook, Parent/Student Portal, storing grades, EOY procedures, report card setup and training and integration with other LMS (preferably Canvas) and 3rd party tools
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Strong technical expertise in SQL (Structured Query Language), DBA, and Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel formulas)
