Job Summary:

Hotel Nikko San Francisco is searching for a Marketing Manager to join our team that will focus on our Social Media accounts and support the Director of Marketing with various projects. As one of our social media accounts is focused on our canine hotel mascots, Beau and Buster, the ideal candidate will be comfortable handling dogs on a daily basis.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for social media content and campaigns across all platforms to increase brand awareness and generate direct bookings. Work with the Director of Marketing on various marketing initiatives. Must be comfortable handling the hotel canine mascots on a daily basis. Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint with strong skills in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams knowledge is required.

Social Media: The ideal candidate is an expert in engaging social media campaigns that showcase all our programming on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube. Enthusiastic, passionate, and driven people are encouraged to apply. You must have experience in, and innovative ideas about content generation for social media platforms and an understanding of the hospitality industry. This position requires expert social media capability and versatility across an array of platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube, and other social media tools.

• Minimum 2-year experience managing successful social media accounts
• Supports staff with content creation and managing the Hotel Nikko San Francisco social media accounts: Hotel Nikko, NikkoPupSF, Restaurant ANZU, and our Executive Account.
• Researches and advises on social media best practices
• Gathers content and creates a social media calendar
• Monitors and reports on social media analytics for all platforms
• Responds to comments and messages on all social media platforms
• Innovates new, fresh approaches to ensure that Hotel Nikko San Francisco is maximizing social media channels and reaching new audiences.
• Frequent trips within the city of San Francisco will be required to capture new and fresh photos
• Expert skills on social media channels, as well as a deep familiarity in best practices for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok, and Pinterest.
• Ability to write and generate content
• Ability to research changes in the social media space
• Proficiency in analyzing social media accounts, engagement, and identifying areas for improvements
• Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, meet deadlines and multi-task
• Ability and comfort in working with dogs daily

Project Coordination/Administrative Help

The ideal candidate is an expert in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint with strong skills in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams. You will be assisting the Director of Marketing in various projects including an Owners Presentation twice a year that requires expert PowerPoint knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High competency with MS office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Work requires independent judgment and initiative on assignments that are time-sensitive in nature.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions
• Be a results-driven achiever with excellent organizational skills
• Must be an exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing
• Must be comfortable communicating with outside vendors
• Must have expert knowledge in Power Point, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams
• Must have expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
• Must have expert knowledge on iPhone as that will be your main tool for content gathering
• Video editing knowledge a plus

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000
