TriLink BioTechnologies, a Maravai LifeSciences company, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician I to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for providing daily support to equipment for sustaining efforts in a high throughput 24/7 manufacturing environment. This position will troubleshoot issues, coordinate, and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and fluidics systems while applying organic chemistry principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling between manufacturing and vendors to ensure preventative and unplanned maintenance is completed
• Operate and perform troubleshooting activities in compliance with the quality system
• Complete tasks and report/track progress through a digital ticketing system
• Execute calibrations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and vendor liaison while ensuring timely completion of work
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidic, and optical equipment systems with minimal guidance
• Collaborate with other groups cross-functionally to achieve production goals
• Manage spare parts and lab supplies to support production areas
• Solve complex problems both individually and as part of a team
• Execute multiple assigned activities in parallel to support production and engineering improvements
• Monitor the technical performance and inventory of equipment
• Perform other functions and duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate Degree
• Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting
• Pharma, Semiconductor, or GMP experience a plus
• Familiar with reading and interpreting vendor documentation and schematics
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in priority
• Chemical analytical equipment repair and troubleshooting preferred
• Experience with data collection and hands-on skills
• Experience using engineering troubleshooting tools
• Familiar with optical/mechanical/electrical and/or fluidic systems
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) preferred
• Math and analytical skills
• Work experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices industries a plus
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as defined by manufacturing schedules

The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000 - $81,000. In addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
