Overview:
Summary:
Supports training needs of coil tubing crews as needed. Directly trains and mentors coil tubing personnel. Responsible for development of training material that supports the Career Progression Program model.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Instills company values in crews: HSE, maintaining assets, and providing a high quality of work for company.
  • Works with Coil Tubing Supervisors and Operations Coordinator to assess training needs within each crew and builds plans to meet those needs.
  • Teaches newly hired operators the foundation of operating coil tubing equipment in compliance with company standard operating procedures.
  • Observes the performance of new operators with previous experience and makes corrections or suggestions as appropriate.
  • Makes recommendations on employee’s training status and equipment proficiencies.
  • Coaches and critiques equipment operator’s method.
  • Works with the supervisor to evaluate each operator’s performance at scheduled check-ins.
  • Assists in development of training programs for crews that support the Career Progression Program model.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum of seven years related experience in field operations
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigomometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams.
Working knowledge of Data Acquisition Systems and fatigue modeling software is desirable

Well Control
Class A CDL
Crane Safety & Operator Training

Other Skills and Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Other Qualifications :

Knowledge of entire coil tubing process from beginning to end.
