SENIOR ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Senior Electrical Estimator in Charlotte, North Carolina.


Senior Electrical Estimator Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Senior Electrical Estimator in Charlotte, NC is between $120,000 and $135,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Senior Electrical Estimator Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing an accurate estimate of costs and timing of work, siting all risks and issues that come from the specifications and drawings.
  • Partner with the Project Management team to ensure the estimate is consistent with the client’s intent and the foremen’s method of execution.
  • Analyze costs and progress to understand over run or under run opportunities.
  • Manage the estimating process including defining the subcontracted work required, any issues, submitting managing RFIs and incorporating responses into quotes.
  • Responsible for detailing the material required to execute the project, defining the specified product vs. generic products, and partner with procurement to obtain any information on the bidding and communication.
  • Participate in the preconstruction process.

Senior Electrical Estimator Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience within Electrical Construction
  • 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Estimator working for a Design/Build Electrical Contractor.
  • Experience within successful estimates specific to large Commercial Projects up to $50M in Electrical Budget.
  • Must have electrical field experience.
  • Must have Estimating experience within Accubid or ConEst Software’s
  • Strong understanding of NECA Standards and other Construction Standards depending on the type of project.
  • Database/Contract Management Software

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering.
