Position Summary*:
Akoya Biosciences is constantly growing, and we are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist who can plan and execute on our digital marketing plans (email, blog, social, marketing automation, and website) and establish a robust reporting mechanism to measure results. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytics mindset and background, with an interest in leveraging digital marketing activities to communicate with Akoya’s prospects and customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:*

• Email marketing: Manage the email marketing platform and the integration with Salesforce.com. Develop the email calendar and lead content aggregation, template development, deployment, and monthly reporting
• Website, Community and Blog management: Manage ongoing updates to the akoyabio.com website, the company blog with a well-planned editorial calendar.
• Social media management: Manage our social media strategy and activities. Establish best practices to improve our reach and increase viewer engagement
• Analytics and reporting: Report on channel performance monthly. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Salesforce.com, and Tableau would be a plus.
• Budget management: Track the budget and spend of the marketing team vis-à-vis our goals and measure ROI on key initiatives.

Skills & Requirements

• Two to four years of digital marketing experience in the life sciences industry
• Expertise in Excel-based reporting and analytics to inform decision making
• Experience with Adobe or Google analytics platforms is a plus
• Experience with Salesforce.com and marketing automation software
• You have a passion for commercializing new technologies and enabling the discovery of new cancer biomarkers
• You have the drive and initiative to learn new skills and can demonstrate complete ownership of assigned marketing channels
• You relish the opportunity to think out of the box and establish new frontiers in how we communicate with prospects, customers, investors and the media
• You believe in using data to drive marketing decision-making

The hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $120,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus (or a sales incentive plan) and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
