About the role
You’ll work with a team building out backend software systems, and participating in the most complex product technical design and prototyping. You'll collaborate with developers, QA, operations and management to provide technical direction in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
You'll also collaborate with the team to provide APIs and web servers for a suite of single page applications as well as the online banking product. The APIs are first-class in nature and are consumed by both internal teams as well as teams outside of the organization. You and the team will be constantly keeping apps up-to-date with the newest development and deployment practices to offer exciting user experiences for highly secured data.
About you
As a senior-level developer, you come with a wealth of software engineering experience in the full SDLC, with an emphasis on backend development in JavaScript, and Node.js in particular.
In addition to your experience building highly scalable backend systems, you're also well-versed in designing and delivering a wide spectrum of RESTful APIs.
Other tech you're familiar with: Typescript, Postgres, Express, KOA, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes.
