Summary

We are recruiting for a seasoned Aircraft Maintenance and Site Manager to join our Perdue Aviation team. This position is responsible for the maintenance and proper recordkeeping of various items including maintenance, and supporting policies and procedures of the Company’s aircraft and hangar site to assure safe travel for all passengers and crew from an aviation maintenance perspective aboard Perdue aircrafts. The Senior Manager plans, performs, coordinates, and supervises any outside vendors in all maintenance activity on company aircraft.

This person must be based within 80 miles of Salisbury, MD. Relocation packages are available for eligible candidates that are interested in moving within the required range.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing required FAA and manufacturer inspections of aircraft.
• Record keeping and maintenance thereof through CAMP.
• Responsible to ensure aircraft is prepared for preflight inspection, the aircraft is properly fueled as directed by the Pilot Crew and the aircraft is ready for dispatch prior to its departures. This may include non-business hours such as early mornings or later evenings from time to time and although infrequent as well as weekends on occasion.
• Responsible to receive Company aircraft as it is arriving from a flight plan, ensuring aircraft is properly stored and chocked either inside the hangar or outside the hangar as directed by the Company Pilots. • Ensure on-site bulk fuel tank is properly maintained and proper record keeping of inspection by either internal or external parties is properly documented and maintained.
• Ensure the inside and nearby exterior of the hangar facility is well maintained and clean from debris, thus keeping the hangar facility in a visually appealing presence.
• Inventory tracking and acquisition to include spares, GSE, tools, and tool calibrations.
• Oversee service contracts and coordination with vendors and manufacturers related to fleet maintenance .
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required by department manager and/or Chief Pilot.
• Coordination with the Chief Pilot in creating and adhering to applicable FOM, M&O, MELs, SOPs and department budgeting.

Minimum Education and Experience

The ideal candidate must have:

• At least 5 years of Aviation Maintenance Experience
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
• Excellent program and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Corporate Aviation operational experience
• Embraer Phenom 300 experience
• Associates or Bachelors Degree
• Inspection Authorization (IA)

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
• Primary work activity is in an aircraft hangar.
• Some exposure to outside weather elements as needed (i.e. during fueling of the plane, etc.)
• Must be able to lift and move airplane parts as needed (i.e. wheel assembly with approximate weight of 75 lbs).
