King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, is currently seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance Department in Atlanta. The department offers the opportunity for an accountant to join an innovative and collaborate team focused on supporting accounting practices and developing solutions to improve processes and procedures. The Senior Account Receivable Specialist will work closely with the Finance team and will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

Candidates will have the following responsibilities:
- Import checks and ACH’s and print reports daily from online banking
- Record relative information in cash logs and monthly reconciliation worksheet
- Identify proper allocation for checks, wires, ACHs, and miscellaneous deposits.
- Enter and post cash receipts in the financial reporting system, balance to deposit totals, and prepare daily cash report for the Intranet.
- Respond to inquiries from firm and client personnel.
- Process accounts receivable write-offs as authorized by billing lawyers or their designees, and by Billing Staff.
- Perform the billing and reconciliation of firm employee personal charges. This process involves interaction with Payroll staff as well as firm employees.
Successful candidates are detail oriented, efficient and have the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, high volume environment. Must have a strong work ethic and a great attitude. Must have good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work. Must be detail oriented with the ability to apply policies and procedures to various situations. Candidates should have well-developed Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel proficiency and demonstrate the ability to problem solve and communicate with all levels of personnel. Must have good personal computer skills and be proficient in typing and the use of 10 key by touch for data entry. Prefer large ERP cash receipts application experience (Aderant Expert a plus). Candidates are preferred to have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; and at least five years of job related experience.
