Job description
DUTIES:
· Managing general accounting functions for the organization.
· Responsible for the ledger of accounts and periodic financial statements, BS & P&L month, quarter and annual.
· Complete responsibility for Accounts Payable, collecting and processing invoices, credit card administration inventory, and vendor management.
· Ensuring sufficient funds by assessing cash requirements and obligations to manage cash flow.
· Treasury and banking: Monthly reconciliation for all bank accounts.
· Processes employee payroll in conjunction with established workforce systems: withholds for tax, benefits and garnishments.
· This includes all deductions, including timely and accurate IRA contributions as appropriate.
· Prepare periodic financial statements, BS and P&L monthly, quarterly and annually.
· Calculating physician partner compensation system, including the monthly base payments and the quarterly bonus reconciliation calculations
· Monitors the implementation of checks and balances which continually evaluate accounting practices, reporting procedures and record keeping.

· Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and written.
· Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and instructions using proper grammar, avoiding accounting jargon.
· Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, leads, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
· Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and work well under high productivity standards.
· Able to prioritize and balance workload on short and long-term company needs.
· Must be able to work independently and be able to solve problems efficiently and accurately.
· Able to create channels of communication to obtain information necessary to perform job tasks.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a high-volume workload.
· Helpful attitude, positive teamwork spirit with a willingness to help
EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline required.
· Skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint or and other web-based applications.
· At least 4+ years of experience in the field of accounting.
This position is full time from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. PPA will provide you with a workstation, a printer and other IT items as needed.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
