Job description
The Kennedy Group, a leading provider of product labeling, warehouse identification and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) solutions, is seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager. We are looking for an aggressive, outgoing person who enjoys building and cultivating long-term relationships. Candidates must have the ability to maintain current accounts while generating new business.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively contact key accounts and prospects with the goal of generating business
Travel to customer and/or prospect locations to maintain and build relationships or to develop business.
Build knowledge of products and services to assist customers with new and existing applications.
Qualify new prospects and gather and capture initial information and work with technical and estimating teams to produce quotes.
Attend and participate in industry trade shows.
Respond to inquiries or requests for information and/or product samples.
Ensure timely follow up with prospects and customers regarding delivery dates, job status, or other information requests.
Maintain prospect and customer data as well as tracking success rates in the Sales database.
Skills
3-to-5 years' business-to-business sales experience
Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to take a proactive approach, multitask, establish priorities, and deliver within deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Ability to persuade and influence others
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and analytical skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
Proficient with Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management applications
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or related concentration preferred
