SBS Transportation is seeking a motivated technician to maintain our trailer fleet.

Our fast growing fleet needs your support!

We have one position left to fill at $30 per hour! The hours are flexible, you can work days or evenings, Monday – Friday!

Trailer Technician Responsibilities:*

• Performing DOT inspections and ensuring equipment is up to USDOT road safety requirements.
• Compiling inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting on trends.
• Manage seasonal maintenance campaign’s.
• Performing preventative maintenance measures on trailers.
• Implement Tire management program.
• Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trailer bodies, systems, and components.
• Maintaining braking systems.
• Servicing electrical systems and lighting.

Trailer Technician Qualifications:*

• A minimum of 1 year experience as a technician / mechanic.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, such as air brakes, and electrical systems.
• Exceptional understanding of mechanical and technical aspects of trailers.
• Welding experience a plus.
• Manual dexterity, experience with hand tools, and physical strength.
