Job Description
ECU ITCS Network Services is responsible for supporting the enterprise network resources at ECU. These resources include but are not limited to wired and wireless network resources, security applications, and cabling needs.
ITCS Network Services is currently seeking student workers. These student workers should be knowledgeable in basic computer operating systems and/or general networking and will serve as an entry level resource within one of the multiple teams that comprise ITCS Network Services. They will use their technical knowledge as a foundation to assist in deployment, analysis, and troubleshooting in the areas support by Network Services which may include network engineering, network analysis, unified communications, network infrastructure, and network architecture.
The student workers should be dependable, courteous, demonstrate good communication skills, good organization skills, experience with Microsoft Excel and Word and be customer-service oriented and possess the ability to work independently as well as in teams.
The student workers are responsible for:

- Serve as an entry level resource within Network Services
- Assist in deployment, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Participate in knowledge sharing with other analysts
- Knowledge of Networking protocols and technologies, e.g. TCP/IP, Routers, etc.
- Knowledge of server/workstation operating systems
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Degree path in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking or related field. GPA of 2.75 or higher.
