Dolan Auto Group, named Best Place to Work in Northern Nevada, is looking for a Security Guard to protect and enforce rules on a property, deter criminal activity and trespassers, and monitor security systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Deter criminal activity.
• Protect property and enforce rules on a property.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol areas and do security checks.
• Ensure that all doors, windows and exits are properly secured.
• Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols.
• Securing entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles.
• Testing security systems.
• Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management.
• Check vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises after hours.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• At least one year of security background.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented.
• Strong communication skills.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.

Physical Demands:
Physical demands include, but are not limited to:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive body movement such as squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast paced walking and light jogging when necessary.
• Lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds without assistance at various times.
• Exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
