Security Engineer
Overview
David Yurman Technology Group is focused on being the market leader in luxury customer experiences that are aiming to be on the cutting edge of the possible in aims to provide an end-to-end true Channel-less experience for customers and associates. The security and assurance of services to our customers and associates is a top priority in executing this mission. We are seeking individuals that can function as part of a team, collaborate, and bring folks along on the journey to strive for excellence and quality. We are looking for individuals with a tactical view on how to drive initiatives from concept through execution, and effective communication therein.
Responsibilities
- Support the business by implementing and maintaining the information security technologies within the organization.
- Develop or enhance current security technologies and procedures to reduce or eliminate potential threats
- Participate as project team member to oversee security-related aspects new customer- or internal-facing IT systems
- Monitor security systems to identify new threats or needs for updates
- Analyze information databases and applications for potential security risks
- Monitor security alerts for all operations, applications and infrastructure.
- Maintain all security tools and technology.
- Work with different departments in the organization to reduce risk.
- Implement new risk management technologies per the needs of the business.
- Audit policies and controls on an ongoing basis.
- Monitor and manage 3rd party relationships with security products and services vendors.
- Ensure cybersecurity stays on the organizational radar.
- Work with Privacy, Legal, Audit and other teams to protect company data as per applicable
- government regulations or other obligations (PCI-DSS).
Desired Skills and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field;
- 5+ years of experience in application security, infrastructure security, information risks, and
- developing security threat solutions
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to handling information, including NIST security framework, SOX and Payment Card Industry/Data Security Standards
- Proficiency with firewalls, endpoint security, mobility management, and vulnerability scanning
- Experience securing Microsoft, AWS and other cloud-based technology platforms
- Proficiency managing group policies, patch deployment and system hardening via Microsoft AD and other systems management tools
- Experience investigating security incidents using SIEM, IDS and other detective technologies.
- CISSP, CISA, CISM or other Industry standard Security certifications

- Ability to Communicate clearly and effectively for complex situations to the business, stakeholders and wider audiences.

- Strategic mindset with a tactical pragmatic approach to business goals.

Estimated salary range:
$160,000-$180,000
Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
