Skopos Hospitality is a group of restaurants and bars located in Northern New Jersey. We are known for our craft cocktails and seasonal pub-style food menus, all set in uniquely designed spaces that transport our guests. During the holiday season, starting the week of Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve, we transform our spaces into Christmas cocktail bars. We are very busy during this period and are seeking seasonal staff. Come earn extra money for the holiday season, the most wonderful time of the year!

We are currently seeking a Seasonal Host at Franklin Social (aka 'Miracle on Mercer') in Jersey City, NJ!

This position will begin ASAP and run through the 1st week of January. Full-time or continued employment *may* be available following the seasonal position if desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat our guests in a timely fashion with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Confident use of our reservation and third-party delivery tablets
• Ability to answer our phone in a professional manner giving proper information
• Always seek to be a team player
• Thoroughly completing assigned side work
• Staying calm under high volume, high-pressure situations
• Work efficiently & multitask while providing the best possible guest experience

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing service position
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Hospitality-focused
• Clean & neat appearance
• Exceptional work ethic & positive attitude
• Meticulous to detail & highly organized
• Ability to follow directions set forth by the management team
• Receptive to performance feedback

Physical Demands
